Olesya Shchukina, born in 1986, is a Russian animation filmmaker based in France. She studied in St Petersburg State University of Cinema and TV. In 2012, she graduated from La Poudrière animation school. The Elephant and the Bicycle is her first professional film.

Alicja Björk Jaworski was born in Poland in 1955. First she studied architecture in Warsaw from 1975 until 1979, then she studied and worked at an animation studio in Warsaw from 1981 until 1982. In 1983 Jaworski moved to Sweden and started working at PennFilm Studio in 1985. Since then, she has worked as an animator and background animator on several projects and directed three shorts in PennFilm Studio's ABC-series.

Mario Adamson was born in 1976 in Stockholm. His roots are in two cultures, due to his Swedish mother and Greek father. He studied film at Stockholm Film School and sound for film at Dramatiska Institutet in Stockholm. In 1999 Mario started Medusa Productions and has since then worked primarily as a freelance sound designer, field recordist and composer on a great number of features, documentaries and shorts.

Fijona Jonuzi was born in Sweden in 1977 to Macedonian-Albanian parents and raised in Eslöv in southern Sweden. She studied, among other subjects, literature and film history at the universities of Lund and Stockholm. Finally, she studied film directing at the School of Film Directing at the University of Gothenburg.

Born in Lyon in 1984, Jean-Charles Mbotti Malolo graduated from Emile Cohl school in 2007. He first fell in love with the pencil when he was young, but kept a room for the Hiphop dance since he was fourteen. Ten years later he joined the Stylistik company as a professional dancer. He also spent several years as background designer and animator in the feature film industry.

Biography
Ana Chubinidze is an author, illustrator and animation film maker. She worked in several Georgian publishing houses as an illustrator and pop-up book designer. She has done various workshops for children and adults about pop-up book techniques. Ana was a member of the Book Art Center Tbilisi and worked as an organizer and curator of Tbilisi Book Days Festival. She directed her first animation short film The Pocket Man in 2016, with the coproduction of Folimage, Nadasdy and Kvali XXI.

Born in Berlin, Germany in 1981, she graduated in audiovisual communication at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and then did a Master's degree in design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland, majoring in animation and illustration.

Born in 1979 in Denmark. Ask holds a degree from the School of Time-based Media, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art from 2010 and graduated as director from the alternative film school Super16 in the same year. He was trained at the European Film College, Denmark from 2001 until 2002. He directed short fiction, commercials, music videos and TV satire. Hasselbalch made his feature film debut with Antboy (2013) which enjoyed its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
