Biography
Fernando Romanazzo was born in 1977 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires. Fernando has worked in Ludovico Productions and founded the production company Aqueronte Productions.

You Reap What You Sow

Synopsis
A Palestinian director living in France is about to start a documentary about the Palestinian memory in Israel. During his research for film locations in Galilee, his family who lives there expresses its concern regarding the idea of making the film.

The Knife

Synopsis
During a shoot on a film set, a film director argues with his main actor over the course of action of a film about a young Palestinian fugitive. The film centers on a moment of hesitation between dying a martyr and surrendering to the Israeli army. While the director wants the knife to be left aside, his actor claims the action is insulting and undervalues the case of martyrdom. When, in reality, the army attacks the film set, both director and actor align in their reaction.

Five Boys and a Wheel

Synopsis
A young father has to help his son out of a petty conflict with the neighbours. As the parents of each respective family are summoned to discuss the issue at hand, the discussions begin to quickly spin out of control, putting the values of the father to test. Set in Aqaba, Jordan, this short film is an Arabic-language adaptation of Raymond Carver's Bicycles, Muscles, Cigarettes.

My Second Eye

Synopsis
A cruel war has taken the home of two brothers. Their mother fosters the seed of a new life and tries to shield them from danger. Despite her worries, the boys keep chasing their childhood dream to play music with an instrument they have fallen in love with – a beautiful oud.

Ahmad Saleh

Biography
Ahmad Saleh was born in Saudi Arabia in 1980. He studied Electronics Engineering in Palestine for his Bachelor and then obtained two Master degrees in arts in Germany. He has experience in working as an art director, writer and film director.

Between Two Deaths

Synopsis
Kameel and Zenab are two Syrian peasants living under Israeli occupation in the occupied Golan Heights. The two are torn between the echoes of the constant shelling in Syria, and decades old Israeli forced occupation.

Said Zagha

Biography
Said is a Palestinian filmmaker from Ramallah. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English and Film from Kenyon College in 2011. His latest narrative short film Five Boys and a Wheel stars the acclaimed Palestinian actor Ali Suliman and was funded by the Royal Film Commission (RFC) of Jordan and Palestinian private sector companies. Said is currently developing his first feature film, a political thriller entitled The Girl, which recently participated in the RFC’s Rawi Screenwriting Lab.
