Julio Pérez del Campo (born in Spain in 1983) has a degree in Environmental Protection from the University of Ireland and in Environmental Sciences from URJC University. He taught film and photography at various schools, workshops, and UNED University, and pursued his master’s degree in Documentary and New Formats. Julio’s projects include GALERÍAS, CHRISTMASK, AUTORRETRATO, YHWH/LA SANGRE, LA TIERRA (selected in the MIFEC), ROAD, and LEZIONE DI ITALIAN (Official Section of the 2015 European Audiovisual Creation Competition). GAZA (2017) won the 2019 Goya Award for Best Documentary Short Film, followed by the award-winning short film, GAS THE ARABS (2018) narrating the Palestinian reality in the Gaza Strip.
Carles Bover Martínez (born in Spain in 1991) obtained his BA in Audiovisual Communication and a master’s degree in Documentary and Film Formats. He worked on Inclusion With an Expiration Date, a report on the educational inclusion of people with cerebral palsy, which won the V Alberta Giménez Journalism Award. He also worked on the short award-winning film GALERÍAS (2014), and his short film directorial debut, ESCUCHA MI MIRADA, featured multiple selections including the Abycine and Art Jove 2016 Festival. GAZA (2017) won the 2019 Goya Award for Best Documentary Short Film, followed by the award-winning short film, GAS THE ARABS (2018) narrating the Palestinian reality in the Gaza Strip.
