SYNOPSIS

Synopsis
Camouflage tells the story of a forbidden friendship blossoming in a secret garden in the city where the East meets the West. This animated short inspired by Ottoman Miniatures and Hieronymus Bosch takes the audience to a mysterious and surreal world which is a reflection of the director's reality.

Biography
Imge Özbilge is a multidisciplinary artist with a multicultural background. After obtaining her BA in the Arts from Istanbul Bilgi University, she continued her Master studies first at the AKV St. Joost Academy in the Netherlands and subsequently at the Royal Academy of Arts KASK in Belgium. The starting point of her work is based on research, ranging from a conceptual base to the exploration of new figurative forms. Between 2014 and 2016 she inquired about the contemporary use of miniature art and wrote her thesis on Contemporary Ottoman Miniatures.
